Leading gas station saves 60% on costs with heat pump
Piotr Łeń and Katarzyna Brodecka are owners of the BP petrol station in Poland. They installed a Danfoss air source heat pump that heats the 304 square meters in winter, and cools it off during summer. Compared to the previous oil boiler heating system, the new heat pump installation reduces costs by more than 60%.

Norwegian supermarket to achieve 30% energy savings
REMA 1000 in Trondheim, Norway, looks like a regular supermarket but then the resemblance stops: the store features green grass on the roof, air curtains at the entrance, and most importantly, REMA 1000 is green when it comes to energy savings: the supermarket has a brand new heat recovery system based on CO2 that will help the store obtain energy savings of 30%.

Danfoss installs huge solar cell park close to headquarters
Danfoss is in the process of establishing a huge solar cell park close to headquarters in Nordborg, Denmark. The facility will be capable of producing power equal to the annual consumption of 400 single-family houses, and has a total capacity of 2.1 MW. It is set to be operational before the turn of the year.
